September can feel like the start of something, not just the new school year, but there is a sort of purposeful energy in the air.
With the full moon on the last day of summer comes an autumn full of new adventures.
My workshop is full of colour! I lit the stove for the first time yesterday as it was definately more chilly. And then.....a burst of creativity with old jam jars, fabric scraps, PVA and a 5 year old resulted in some rather spectacular vases!
Lanterns maybe next?
It was lovely to see you yesterday Katie and to see the vases in progress! Definitely something to add to my to-do-list. And you'll be pleased to know I spent the afternoon sewing with the children and we have 3 cushions, 2 crazy patchwork squares and 3/4s of a studio box to show for it :o) xxx
