Try this when you have a spare hour or two or - like me this morning - when you are tidying the kitchen.
You'll need your itunes on your computer or mobile device.
If you don't know what I'm on about you can go and hang out in the archive if you like.
I have 2238 songs, over 10 days of continuous listening. Crazy.
Here are the rules. Put the whole collection on 'shuffle' and press play. You are not allowed to fast forward any of them - they're on your own personal tunes ..... you put them there!
So far this morning, I've listened to Kate Bush, Carmina Burana, Eric Clapton, the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, Florence and the Machine, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, Talking Heads, Emiliana Torrini (yes), K.D. Lang, The Who, Mozart, some wailing thing called Arabesque and right now I am listening to a talk from a Buddhist Monk about compassion (it's amazing!)
Its all right there on my iTunes! Who knew?
The kitchen is really tidy too.
Later today I am hosting a workshop to celebrate a birthday with a nought on the end. Anne is coming with lots of her friends to fold origami cranes, 100's of them. A splendid way to spend a birthday.
A post without a picture? Never!
Norma the cat is not allowed on the table. This has been mentioned before.
Hello Kate what a great blog you have. I too am glad to find another like minded friend. So many different things music, Mary Oliver, paper mâché... And that you have recreated a place for people to come play with recycled things is so great! Love it. I'll be back!
