Another pink bag
I have this Bag Making Bug. It woke me up at 3 am the other day and I went to the shed with the World Service and a pot of tea to finish it.
bag # 2. 'What do you think of it so far?' (all Morecambe and Wise fans are welcome to shout 'Rubbish' now if they want to)
Sometimes I think maybe there is too much going on with this bag? bobbles, three kinds of patches, eye watering pink, a strap and a drawstring?
Then I wonder if I could get anything more into the next one? I am a woman obsessed. With pink, trimmings, bag making, Anna Williams style (more pictures here) and frustrated by having too little time!
Last night I had a late finish at work and went to get the Metro to my car (long story) at the same time as thousands of Newcastle United supporters. Fortunately they were good natured as they had won, but the journey home was so slow and late.
Today is all mine. Sunny, not too cold, walk in the woods to come, Oxfam later and a long sit in the shed with bag # 3. Bring on the pink.
heyy. i'm in bristol with martha, all with the plane went well.
woke up a bit ago and martha has gone to oxfam to do some work there. she has drawn me a map and at 1:00 i am going to go and meet her and matt for lunch.
last night we went to see mr burdon playing in a bar somewhere. it was pretty good. after that we went to hear some jazz at a different bar which was better though.
i hope you are having a good time at home with dad and puppy. i will see you tomorro.
love from owen xxxxx '07.

I love the bag and I understand your frustrations about your lack of time. sometimes a project just burns in you and you have to wade through so much other stuff before you can settle down and let it happen.

The bags are VERY fun...a great way to incorporate color into everyday live. Me, I like my new orange shoes. Thanks for the link to the fun quilts too. Now, let's talk about this term "shed" how about "studio" instead. It's your creative place that helps bring art into your life and i hate to this of you out in the "shed" with the garden tools.
