Because I love the sea...
It's no secret that I love the sea
but I live so far away from it. I was born on the west coast. That sounds so romantic - but it was the west coast of Lancashire, Southport to be precise, where there is more sand than sea, but my first breath was full of ozone so its in my blood (?)
Now, thanks to Annie's lovely generous gift, left on my doorstep yesterday, I may not be able to smell it every day, but I can hear it!
thank you Annie!
I too love the sea and was born on the East coast. Is Owen enjoying Norfolk?
Have you been watching "Lilies"? Is the beach they are filming from Southport? Great storylines, costumes and acting.

Do you live so far away from it? Whitley Bay is only 35/40 miles away (from Hexham)! My husband comes from Worcester and is constantly amazed at us living so close to the sea ~ he loves it. I think he feels he had a sea-deprived childhood.
Blyth is nice, and their fish and chips superb! :)

Me too! The sound of the waves rolling on the beach sends me to sleep :-)
