The view from my office window

100_5324
So while I can see a bit of sky (which is an improvement on the windowless world I had last year) you can see why I prefer to be looking out of my window at home. Today, though it is cold, the sun is streaming through it, onto the table where I am experimenting with quilting this crazy colourful mixture of madness that I have spent the last few weeks piecing. (This is my Mum's box of embroidery threads)

Here is what I decided to do with the edges

and the view from my bedroom window where I am sitting now.....

the view is definitely better where you are sitting now. i like the edge technique.

View from you bedroom window wins hands down!

I prefer the room with a view but I quite like the curve of that roof line. I like your edging

What a beautiful view from your bedroom window! I really love the colours in your quilt, so vibrant!

absolute heaven, that view. that's what i want someday. maybe if i'm very good.

What a beautiful view from home - the view from my window at work is rolling farmland so I am rather lucky - my husband has got a view of the Tyne (he works where the old post office was, near Central Station) and the prettier bits of Newcastle. But at least you have sky... and with the snow that's been around of late I can imagine it's been rather beautiful.

I was around Hadrian's Wall the other day, in the middle of a white-out, that was very fun!

I think I'd work from home.

mmmmmmmmmmmum. ssee you in lessss than a weeek!
everything is good.
tell farth we are spoiled by his vegetable treats- I made purple sprouting broccoli and chicory flan and we're having asparagus now after yoga. mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
