Welcome Kitty

This little Kitty has come all the way from Hanna in Sweden! Thank you Hanna, she is beautifully made and has taken up residence in the shed.
The shed which is bedecked with tulips (thank you to my Dad!)
which I have been enjoying while I made this on a sunny day because Ali gave me a box of old Beanos.
it is sitting in the greenhouse here - drying.
I have been making quite a lot of things lately as I have signed up to 'do' Art Tour. For the past 12 years Network has organised open studios all over the north east. Geoff has taken part for the last three and this year I have decided to open up the shed for three Sundays and share some of what I find so magical in there with Art Tourers!
There will be more about this, you can be sure!
"Art Tour" sounds fun, well it will be fun checking in here to see how things are progressing etc. I love those Beanoed shelves, the boys have boxes of old Beano's and Dandy's they are keeping them to sell in their old age!

Good luck with the Art Tour. It's great that you are opening up the shed, what fun. Hope we see the photos. Love the tulips and Sophie just looked over my shoulder and spotted the kitty which she loves.

The Beano shelves look fantastic. How great to have a studio and be apart of the Art Tour. You know I am very envious of your shed.

Clever shelves! I'm still angling to get my shed - I keep looking on websites for the best deal. Once the wedding is over and I can get to do some more Sunday car boots any cash will be going towards it. It obviously needs to be erected in fine weather, doesn't it!!! So I can't possibly wait for too long! Your Art Tours sound interesting. Shall enjoy hearing more about it.

Superb work, with the beano covered shelves ! There's nothing like getting the glue out and doing a messy job.

Hi Katie,
Those Beano shelves are amazing - what a great idea. I'd better not tell my 10 year old son though he'd think it was sacrilege.
Great felting tutorial too and I'll remember to pass on the link if anyone asks (and they often do when I sell my plant dyed fibre).

Oh Wow! I love the Beano shelves (although I was more of a Bunty girl myself). Great for a kid's playroom!
Thank you for visiting my blog BTW.
