Barter Books sell this great poster

Just as I was beginning to wonder how I was going to manage to go to the loo or make a cup of tea between 11 and 5 on Sunday, my lovely Martha walked through the door, home for three days especially to help out! So we were ready to turn the sign to .......
Open
Thank you to everyone who came and to everyone who liked my things enough to buy them! The sun shone and the visitors came. I had been full of trepidation about the whole thing, but I need not have worried, the Shed was a hit!
Special thanks to the woman who came to visit on her daughters recommendation. Sarah reads this blog from Adelaide and sent her Mum along to see me! Once more I am amazed by the wonderful world of Blogging!
Hello Sarah - you have a lovely Mum!

So pleased for you. Love the signs. What did you sell?

Well done you, I do wish I was nearer, I would definitely visit that shed.

My goodness you have been busy since my last visit! Congratulations on your Open Studio, it looks great and it is a good feeling when you work hard for an event and get a good turnout.

I read back over the posts I've missed and was interested to learn that you are a midwife. I was a midwife until I left the UK - it seems like a lifetime ago now and it's funny to think that all those babies I delivered are now in their teens!

I'm sure your shed couldn't have been anything but a hit. Well done. I bet you're feeling nicely contented now, aren't you! How lovely to have a "blog mum" visit you, too!

Brilliant so pleased everything went well.

I'm so glad it went well Katie - hopefully we will all be able to come over to one of the later ones. Hope you have recovered from it all. Lucy x
