A visit to the shed...

...or should I call it an invasion? I used to have small children, I think I was fairly good at it, but I am now completely exhausted and ready for a lie down, And this is because..... I have just entertained Nancy, nearly one, Iris, two and Cala three and their Mums to lunch and Christmas Shed Shopping!

here we are selecting badges

and Nancy and Lara blending in.
We had a visit to the Treehouse for a bounce on the bed

and now I need a lie down.
Anyone who would like to call by the shed for a bit of Christmas Shopping would be very welcome. I have badges and beads and envelopes and book bags and juggling balls and craft packs and some other things. I have been thinking of having a blog shop for ages, and need to get the time to do it properly, but if you are within driving distance and would like to call by, let me know and I'll put on the kettle!

Don't worry. Not yet or even soon.
I think I will ring you.
In fact I will ring you now. Because I'm having a happy advent.

A blog shop would be cool, especially for those of us who are not within driving distance!!!
Take care,
Alison x

:)
ahhh- i was worried when you said invasion but that is lovely- you must be very tired!
the pics are so warm and so inviting i may just have to book a plane ticket for a cup of tea in the shed!!
:)

What a delightful post! Is that you? Lovely...:) And your studio? Amazing...so much personality shining thru. I am full of curiousity about whats hanging on the wall behind you...your work?

That's an invitation we would gladly take up! I'd love to buy some of your creations and the children would be very excited to see you again! I'll let you know if we can get through sometime soon - things are a bit hectic over here, I've got 20 orders for Christmas and as my neighbour kindly pointed out only 18 days to do them in! Lucy x

That looks like fun. I'd love to come visit. What a lovely idea, Christmas shed shopping.

Golly I wish I was in driving distance - could I jump up and down too?

You have no idea how much I'd love to drop in for a cuppa, your craft shed looks soo very inviting. Does the bed jumping come with the cuppa?

Hi Katie - lovely post - those children look like they are having fun. I would also love to come and have a cuppa with you - who knows maybe I will drive up to see you! Pepper could do with another good "run". Love the door of the shed. Go on open a blog shop, you know you want to - I'm sure you'll get lots of customers - me included.

Hi Katie

What a lovely day you must have had, but I can understand the exhaustion at the end! Such a shame I'm not nearer to share in the shed shopping but I'm pleased to hear the fairs have been good for you. It appears the West Country bloggers' fairs haven't been doing so well from their comments.

I've worked out how to make a comment!!!!! hmmm not tooo hard
what a gorgeous time we had in the shed and cala in the treehouse. It's 6 mnoths or so since we've been and more and more colour and imagination have exploded each time. You should do some close up pics for the blog kate of all the small gorgeous bizarre bits - little random cut out bits of text and pictures of buttons that have caught your eye.
we love you kate and your huge creative heart. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
thank you for a lovely day

your shed is an endless source of envy and delight for me. ;-) one day i will have a wee space of my own. i need to send you a pic of the hat i made with the yarn you sent. your badges are fantastic. i wear them on my apron when i teach children. they love them too!

great photos. It looks like a wonderful time was had by all. I do know what you mean about exhaustion though, I constantly marvel at how much energy my 2 have and by Sunday night I'm always flagging and looking forward to the slower pace of monday morning knitting!

Hello- have just discovered your blog and I also have shed envy! It looks so cosy and inspiring in there, wish I lived closer but alas, it's a school night! Loved your felt beads, that is the next thing on my list of things to teach myself!

shed envy and tree house envy . such a good time... these pictures tell a wonderful story.

I was in Hexham on Tuesday, it would've been lovely to meet-up for the afternoon! It was such a grey day but I went to Waitrose and got all of the xmas shopping done in one fell swoop. Hooray!

I feel a Spring visit is on the cards :D
