They said it would snow...
...and it did. This snow has been the most talked about and anticipated. There isn't much, but enough to make me stoke up the fire and resolve to stay inside, indeed I took these photos from the back door with my slippers on.
I offer this next photo as a 'Spot The Difference' for you - there is one difference, if you spot it you are entitled to a prize. Erm... what should it be? I'll think about it and post it later!!
If you can't see any difference - please make an appointment with an optician as soon as possible. Don't drive there - get someone to take you.Prize later
Here is the prize for everyone who spotted Poppy on the second photo! Hooray! This is a bit of Noggin the Nog, a very favourite story from Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin. The books are great, the TV adaptations are charming and Noggin is our hero
Yep. Well done sis. Still as daft as ever.
:-)

Whew, happy to know that my exorbitantly priced new specs work - bags I the prize for spotting the extra dustbin.
You were quite right to enjoy the Langley snow fall from inside the house, although you were much missed at knitting. Stay toasty! x

If you see a lot of Crows together they are Rooks. If you see a Rook by itself it's a Crow.

I envy you the snow! But I love the prize: that's the best prize I've won in ages. Now I'm off to see whether I can find any Pogles on YouTube

Happy New Year Katie and thanks for the Noggin the Nog clip. Amy and I love to read the 2 noggin books that we have (they were my husband's when he was a boy). Love the snowy pictures - Poppy looks like she's enjoying it - if you get bored of it please send some our way as Amy doesn't believe winter has started yet because we've had none!

Hoooray for Noggin, I love those stories. Thanks for that little trip down memory lane.

Your plan for the new year sounds very tempting! I've 'lurked@ for ages and love the morsbags action you took. Now can I get a village (small town) in Durham to do the same? I LOVE your 'shed'.

Hooray for snowy days - I am the original snow baby and can't get enough of the stuff. We were in Hexham on the 2nd, just before the snow, in the crypt at the abbey actually. Had a wonderful time! One day we'll bump into each other, I know it!

I lurk or surf but try to leave comments when I can.
Thanks for asking.
