A new comment from No. 1 child. |
'Dear readers of my mother's blog. My mother is still alive. I know, she phones me. I can't phone her because she may quiz me more deeply over the missing hoover attatchments that were last seen in my hands. apparently. Anyway, her hens are laying well and she is very busy making fairy capes and other things. Worry not. She is still mint.'
What a relief to know you're still mint!!! Fairy capes? Keep up the good work - we need all the fairy luck we can get ...

Please tell No. 1 child that we gratefully appreciate knowing that you are still mint. But what about those hoover attachments?

How weird is that?! It was only this morning that I checked on your ma's blog to make sure my subscription feed thingie wasn't playing up. It's been too long since we saw or heard from her. At least we now know she is still 'mint', just ask her to lay off the chickens and send a small word and the odd piccie in the diection of her blog. I'm missing the shed!! :0)

May I make a plea on behalf of my most wonderful daughter though in all conscience I can only cover two days? She came to spend some quality time with us and it was lovely beyond words. Dare I say though, using modern jargon....I can see where 'daughter No 1' is coming from!!

glad to hear that you are still 'mint' whatever that might mean - expect it's a compliment in young person jargon. will look forward to eventually seeing your own jargon on the blog too!

I am so glad you left that comment. There are so many people who disappear from the web and no-one knows why. If their other half is a technophobe, no one will ever know. I definitely think there is a market for a dead blogger service..I've even thought of a name'The Last Post' where an organisation could keep the passwords and the bereft informs them on the demise of said blogger and ...well you get the picture. Its my idea now! No copying!

I don't think you have mum's attachments, because I don't believe for one minute you know what the Hoover looks like let alone that it has bits that attach!!

Eh? I am excellent at hoovering! Perhaps not at putting the nozzly bits back with the hoover.. I take offence. Although I am not so excellent at washing up while writing my dissertation.
