Alston Craft Fair
today and tomorrow and the day after - please say 'hi' if you call by - its looks like being a great fair and don't worry too much about the roads - be careful and drive slowly and you'll be fine!
The cafe food is very good too! I won't be needing a packed lunch!
Alston - this way (well - not really - that's the footpath to somewhere or other, but you get my meaning)

Brilliant timely link to Moorland's candles, thank you. I spent a long time yesterday looking for brightly coloured candles. I can't get to Alston but they sell them in Mysteries in Covent Garden. I'll show you if I manage to get some. They said you were lovely too!

Hi Katie
Just found your blog - and it's so interesting. You must be fairly local to me as you mention pavi and the garden station. Hope the fair goes well and the weather doesn't put people off!

hope the weather is ok for you, sadly I don't think we can make it from Lancaster with the roads
I love the candles, I always enjoyed going and choosing my own

I had some work in Gossipgate Gallery there for a while. Good luck with the fair. Hope you sell loads.

I am far from gruntled that I could not join you - I really enjoyed it last year. Hope it was a grand success. x

Oh I love that last pic..it looks SO cold! What sad news today of Oliver Postgate.(I know you are a Noggin fan from reading previous posts here.) My daughter adored Bagpuss.
