We have been without electricity for nearly a week and today our friendly electrician came to diagnose the problem.
the arteries and vessels of our little house were exposed all of them laid bare and tested several times the fault found in the very last bit of wire, between the last two sockets in the whole house I made an unhelpful comment. If we had started going round the other way, would we have found it straight away? well .... of course we would, but would we have had so much fun?

My word it was serious wasn't it - and theres me worried about what turned out to be perfectly fine wiring in our house!!!
We have damp and I am putting off getting people in to look at that at the moment....

Oh what a nightmare! No electricity for nearly a week would have had me completely round the bend! I'm glad it's sorted now!
What was Friday night's outing like?

The potential for chaos is massive - will it take long to put the house back together again?
Will the revamped electricity travel twice as fast and shine twice as brightly?

Helpful comments ...
Just like when somebody says when you're looking for a lost item
"it'll be in the last place you look"
Hope your wiring is soon sorted ...

Good grief! Looks like you had to tear the house apart. Has that resulted in a great deal of redecorating too? Was it mice?
