Enchanted Forest, that was the title of yesterday's workshop at MAKE, with Mandy Pattullo and eight talented participants.
Working on tweeds and old quilted scraps and using cotton weight fabrics
the theme was woodland, forest, trees, animals, birds
lots of embellishments with stitched lines
and a generous teaching style from Mandy
wonderful interpretations of the theme
thank you to Mandy and all the women who came. I feel inspired to have a go myself! In a fortnight, on 16th October, Mandy will be back for the last workshop in this series, Textile Jewellery, and there are still a few places left! As ever, all materials provided, lovely lunch and tea, coffee and cake all day!
October here we come!

Thank you - my favourite is the log cabin block with the bird on it. Very inspiring! I might have a go at something like that - it would make a nice cushion. At the moment i am flitting from one project to another - don't seem to have the time for a whole quilt

Wow Katie these are fab, must have been a great workshop. I'm hopping round trying to find old blogging friend from my Willow House days as I've started blogging again. So pleased you are still here. Looks like you're having a wonderful time with your business, congratulations on that.
